All traffic was temporarily held on the M11 southbound between Junction 9 for the A11 and Junction 8 for the A120, according to traffic data. Long delays built up in the area as emergency services attended the incident. Essex County Fire and Rescue Service has now confirmed crews were called to the scene at around midday.
