We've compiled a full list of the roads set to close from Monday to Thursday

There will be a number of planned closures on the region's motorways this weekend, including on the M6, M60[1] and M62[2].

National Highways, which manage the country's major A-roads and motorways, have confirmed several overnight closures[3] are planned between Friday, May 1, and the early hours of Monday, May 4.

Drivers should be aware of the disruptions, so we have listed every section of motorway in Greater Manchester[4] - and just outside - that will be closed this weekend.
