Guaranteed to fit; but only 25 off of the basic Tesla interior mat-set.
These fit perfectly.
But some mats arrive folded-up; which means that you have-to quickly fit them into the vehicle so that they can form the correct shape. It the TPE. The thermoplastic elastomer material, which is like a very soft rubber. It’s very pliable.
It needs-to settle for quite a while in the vehicle to prevent the mats causing any potential driving issues. But the most out-of-shape is actually the rear seat section; which doesn’t cause any such driving safety issues.
Whereas other mats are split in the middle; these are sealed in the middle to form one whole unit to capture spillages.
They’re also deep lipped; to capture larger amounts of moisture, too.
So, they’ll protect whatever they cover, and they look good whilst doing so; if a little cheap being a rubber based mat, rather-than a carpeted type.
My only concern is the price, as someone who I ordered these for; actually decided-to order the Tesla mats for only 25 more. It might not have had everything that’s contained within this pack, but enough was included with the ones ordered directly from Tesla; for not that much more than this full set of floor-mats.
Glove fit on our 2026 Y, finally my muddy boots aren't ruining the carpe
Got our Model Y last summer and immediately started worrying about the carpet. We’ve got a couple of dogs, kids in football boots and the inevitable Scottish weather, so within a fortnight the original mats were looking sorry for themselves. I’d been putting off buying decent all-weather mats for ages and these arrived as a Vine pick at the right moment.
Fit is the bit that genuinely impressed me. The 6-piece set covers all four footwells, the centre console area and the boot liner properly, and every piece sits flush to the contours of the floor with no gaps or daylight visible underneath. The 3D laser-scanned mould has clearly been done off the actual 2026 RHD car rather than a left-hand drive template flipped over, which is the trap some cheaper sets fall into. The driver’s footwell mat in particular wraps up the side panels in the right places, no awkward overlap with the pedals.
Quality of the TPE material is excellent. It’s properly thick and has a gentle springiness that absorbs scuffs without showing them, and the diamond-pattern texture gives a non-slip surface for shoes without being so aggressive that it’s hard to clean. The raised edges (about 2cm all the way round) trap water and mud rather than letting it spill onto the original carpet.
Durability so far has been spot on. Three weeks of daily use including a couple of properly muddy weekends and one accidentally upended bottle of water in the back, and they show no marks or stains. Wiped clean with a damp cloth and they look factory fresh. The boot liner has handled a soaking dog without any leakage onto the carpet underneath.
Appearance is properly smart too. The black-on-black finish matches the original interior and looks like proper OEM rather than an aftermarket addition. Tesla’s own branded mats cost almost double these and don’t look any better in my view.
Ease of cleaning is genuinely simple. Lift them out (the velcro fasteners under the front mats are well-placed), shake the loose stuff into the bin, and a quick wipe with a soapy cloth. They air dry in twenty minutes. Bigger jobs you can hose them off in the garden.
A couple of fair points. The boot liner is a tiny bit short at the rear lip, doesn’t quite cover the loading sill, so if you’re sliding muddy boxes in you’ll still get some dirt on the painted edge. And on hot days the TPE has a faint rubbery smell when the car’s been parked in the sun, which fades within a few minutes of opening the doors.
Solid bit of kit and properly tailored to the 2026 RHD car. Wish I’d bought them back in summer rather than putting up with the original mats. Highly recommended.
ONLY for Standard Model Y 2026!
These mats feel properly premium compared to the cheaper universal options you often see for Teslas. The fit in the new standard 2026 Model Y is excellent! Everything lines up neatly, clips in securely, and the coverage is much better than the factory carpets, especially around the edges and footwells.
The material quality stands out straight away. The TPE construction feels thick, durable, and flexible without being overly rigid, so they sit flat properly rather than curling at the edges. One thing I was especially happy about is that there was basically no chemical or rubber smell when opening them, which is surprisingly rare with all-weather mats.
In daily use they are ideal for British weather. Mud, wet shoes, gravel, dog hair, and spills all wipe or rinse off very easily, and the anti-slip texture helps stop things sliding around in the boot. The raised edges are particularly useful for containing water and dirt before it reaches the original carpet underneath.
The boot liner is equally well fitted and gives good protection if you regularly carry shopping, tools, pets, or outdoor gear. Everything feels secure once installed and nothing shifts around while driving.
One important thing to note is compatibility. These are specifically for the new standard 2026 Tesla Model Y only, the version without the full-width front light bar. They do not fit the Juniper refresh, Performance, or Premium variants, so it is important to check which version you have before ordering.
Overall, this is a really high-quality set of all-weather mats that feels durable, practical, and genuinely well tailored to the vehicle rather than being a generic fit. Excellent protection for keeping the interior clean long term.
