Built like a tank. great magnetic mount + protective case for Starlink Mini
This Starlink Mini magnetic roof mount is honestly really good. The base is metal, the magnets are strong and the clear plexiglass top is nice because it protects the Mini from getting scuffed up (and adds a bit of peace of mind if you’re using it in real-world conditions).
What I like most is the versatility: it’ll stick to basically anything magnetic; cars, pickups, heavy equipment, toolboxes, metal doors, whatever. And if you don’t want to mount it, it still works as a protective case/frame that keeps the Mini safe while moving it around or storing it. The magnetic feet can be removed and it can act as just a glorified screen protector (like for your phone, but for the Mini instead).
Pros

– Strong magnetic hold, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to yeet itself off my car
– Clear plexiglass shield protects the top of the Mini
– Works on tons of surfaces: car roofs, pickups, heavy equipment, metal doors, etc.

Cons
– Magnets are strong (which is good), but that means repositioning takes a bit of effort
– Plexiglass will probably need an occasional wipe (dust/dirt/fingerprints happen)

This magnetic mount case is fantastic. I live and work on rough dirt roads and my truck gets bounced all over the place – this mount had stayed in place very well. Easy to set up and well made
