Works but with a catch
It worked but with a catch. The connectors have similar weather protection to the official Starlink , so that’s good. The dc converter box is water resistant so if you take it camping it should withstand getting rained on.
The cables are well made and flexible, I don’t see any issues with getting linked or damaged from being folded and stored in the box it came in for extended periods.
I could not see any difference in my internet when using this dc power supply, another positive. Power fluctuates between 60-100 watts based on network activity.
One problem I ran into, it didn’t work with my power station. My Starlink would boot, initialize, then reboot repeatedly. I swapped over to an unregulated 12v plug that is hardwired to a battery and the system started as normal. To double check I plugged the converter into a jump box with a 12v outlet and it worked also. I plugged it back into my power station one more time and still the reboot loop issue.
I don’t know if it’s because the 12v plug on the power station is regulated my the power stations dc inverter but all I know is it didn’t work. It may work with a different power station but I don’t have another one so I that’s a real bummer.

What I Like:

Build Quality: The cable and converter feel solid and well-built. Connectors fit snugly and the wiring seems heavy-duty enough for repeated install/removal.
What Could Be Improved:
No Weather Protection: There’s no ruggedized cover or weatherproofing on the converter shell, so you’ll want to keep it sheltered from rain and dust if using outdoors.
Cable Length: The lengths are fine for most setups, but if you’re running power far from the vehicle battery you might need extensions.
Overall:
If you want to power your Starlink Gen 3 dish from a vehicle or other 12–36V system without fuss, this adapter makes it easy and reliable. Just be mindful of weather exposure and plan your cable runs — otherwise, it does the job well.
