‘Reassuring’ Pit Stop health checks for truckers

The award-winning Chippenham Pit Stop - which is located just off junction 17 of the M4 - offers an independent, family run truck-stop, equipped with a caf?, convenience store, bar, outdoor gym, showers, and overnight parking.

David Hatherell, the truck stop's boss, said: "It's often forgotten or not truly appreciated that without the UK's thousands of truckers spending long hours behind the wheel the nation's entire economy would grind to a halt."

The NHS walk-in sessions will return to the Chippenham Pit Stop on 20 May, where drivers can book a slot in advance, or simply turn up on the day.
