Simple Stereo with CD/DVD That Still Gets the Job Done
I installed this in one of my older vehicles where I still had a bunch of CDs, and that’s really why I picked it up. It’s getting harder to find radios with a disc player, so this was a nice option.
The CD/DVD function works as expected. It reads discs without issues, and it’s nice being able to play older music without relying on streaming all the time. I didn’t hook it up to a screen for video, but it’s good to know that option is there.
Bluetooth setup was quick, and I’ve been using it for hands-free calls and music. Calls come through clear, and streaming has been consistent without dropping connection.
I like having multiple input options. Between USB, SD card, and AUX, there are plenty of ways to play music depending on what you’re using.
The included steering wheel remote is actually useful. It makes it easier to adjust volume or change tracks without reaching for the unit.
Sound quality is decent for a basic single DIN. I played around with the EQ settings a bit and was able to get it sounding better than the old factory radio.
Install was straightforward. Standard single DIN setup, so as long as you’ve done one before or take your time, it goes in without much trouble.
Overall, this is a good option if you still want a CD/DVD player but also need Bluetooth and modern inputs. It keeps things simple and works well for everyday use.
