Product Description
It's OK but not the best overall package
The jump starter arrives in a nice box and inside is the starter itself, the jump leads, a carry bag and a USB charging cable.
Let’s start with the good.
The charger has a nice LCD display so you can easily see the current charge. The manual recommends at least 75% of charge to jump a car which seems quite high, so you’ll need to ensure this is kept charged every few months or so.
The jump leads themselves open nice and wide so should fit on most vehicles.
Everything else is middling. The light is fine but turning it on and off was frustrating. Probably the most disappointing overall factor is that only a carry bag is provided, not a hard case like others I own. It’s also quite light which suggests the battery is not particularly large.
Overall it’s fine, but just a bit middling compared to the competition.
Powerful and Reliable Car Emergency Tool
I decided to keep this jump starter in my car for peace of mind, and it has turned out to be a very useful purchase. The device feels solid and well built, and the 8000A power is more than enough to start a car with a weak battery. I tested it on my petrol vehicle and it worked instantly without needing another car. The smart clip system makes the process safe and straightforward, even for someone who doesn’t have much experience with car maintenance. The LED light is also a great addition, especially if you ever need to use it at night or in low-light conditions. It’s compact enough to store in the boot but powerful enough to handle serious situations.

This is a must have accessory for everyone. These devices are invaluable and you never know when you’ll need it.
This device has plenty of power to jumpstart a car several times. I think that’s quite an important point because if your car needs jumpstarting, the likelyhood is that you will need to do it more than once. This will be able to do that with about a 30% loss in charge.
I would say the build quality on this is ok. It’s not made with the most solid feeling materials but functions well. The plastic on the device feels a little cheap.
I like that the device has quite strong clips for attaching to car batteries. They are a good size compared to other car chargers I have had before.
It also comes built in with a flash light which will be useful when trying to clip the terminals on to the charger at night.
I think this is good value for what its purpose is.
Short connection leads
Waking up to a dead vehicle battery on a frosty morning provided the perfect opportunity to test this portable booster. Hooking up the leads to the terminals is straightforward. The metal clamps are stiff and have a strong bite, ensuring a solid connection on the posts. Turning the unit on, the indicator lights show exactly how much charge remains. Cranking the engine took only one attempt, and the motor started immediately without any sluggishness. The short length of the leads makes it tricky to position the heavy battery block securely under the bonnet while trying to start the car. It mostly ends up resting awkwardly on top of the engine block. The built-in torch is bright enough to see the terminals in pitch black, which helped during a late-night breakdown. Charging the unit back to full from a wall socket takes several hours. The yellow plastic casing feels rugged but gets dirty very easily when handled with greasy hands.
Serious jump starter that feels ready for real emergencies
This PSOOO jump starter gives a strong first impression, with a solid build and enough power on paper to handle big petrol and diesel engines which makes it feel reassuring to keep in the boot. The smart clips are clearly laid out and easy to connect, with the safety prompts helping take some of the stress out of using it when a battery has gone flat. I also like the built in LED light for darker evenings or roadside use, as that is exactly when tools like this tend to be needed. It is the sort of kit you hope you will not need often, but it feels like a very sensible backup to have in the car.
Looks to Be Good
This is rather a strange thing to review as one hopes it will never be needed for its intended purpose. It is certainly a neat power pack which takes up very little space in the car boot. It seems to be well enough made to do the job and is easy to recharge if and when needed. It’s good to have that emergency facility in the car but I can see it being more usual to provide a good source of power for camping lights and phone charging.
Only one very minor criticism is the rather basic surge bag supplied. It would be basically designed to hold a pair of trainers !!! Does the job I suppose.
Ace jump starte
Got this to keep in the car for those inevitable times when the car won’t start.
This jump starter kit comes with the jump starter, jump leads, instruction leaflet and bag to keep it all in.
The jump starter is super easy to use. You switch it on (recommended to keep at over 75%), connect the jump leads to the jump starter then connect to the battery. Then just start your engine and this will kick in and help to start your battery. I got my second car started with this with no problems and I’ve now got this fully charged and stored in the boot for future use.
It comes with a flashlight feature too so you can see in the dark or warn of danger if need be. The jump starter is robust and well put together.
Overall, I’m really happy with this jump starter. It’s well made, really convenient to have around and, most importantly, it’s really easy to use. The flashlight is really useful if you get stuck in the dark and, if you use the voucher at checkout, this is even more good value.
