I have has a few items from this seller now and their items are decent.
This aerator is no different, the panel works well and it was easy to install.
Everything is quite straightforward and I have it in a sunny spot.
I don’t have any fish in the water, it’s currently just a bucket nature pond, I added this to prevent the water going stagnant and smelly and adding extra oxygenation and movement.
It feels good quality and well finished. Time will tell how well it keeps
An easy solutio
Such a good idea. No more worries about cables this airation pump works via a battery backed solar panel.
Suitable I would say for smaller ponds it’s obviously so easy to install. Point the solar panel in the direction of the sun, submerge the airation stones provided, yes the pipework is also provided, connect up the pump and away you go.
The battery, charged during sunlight, keeps the bubbles going for a fair while especially if the intermittent mode is chosen.
You do pay a premium over wired pumps but I think this is well worth it considering the ease of installation. In fact you might save money and you don’t have to cable it up to the mains.
This works for me.

Works Well Even Without Constant Sunligh
I’ve been really impressed with this solar pond aerator so far. It produces a steady stream of bubbles and seems to keep running even when the sunlight isn’t directly on the panel, which is a big plus.
The build quality feels good and everything works as expected straight out of the box. Setup was straightforward, and it’s been running reliably since.
Overall, it’s a solid bit of kit that does exactly what it’s meant to do. I’m very happy with it.
Great for a larger pond
I only have a small garden pond, but it’s in a reasonable amount of sunlight and it does tend to turn stagnant. As I understand it, an aerator is helpful for fish because it increases the oxygen in the water, however, it’s worth mentioning that I don’t think frogs are so keen on it because they do have quite sensitive hearing. This doesn’t keep the water entirely clear but it seems to help.
This is a little larger than my last one. It seems a bit more sturdy. I was pleased to find that this has an integrated battery, although I don’t find it vital with an aerator because they seem to keep going a little bit more reliably than a regular fountain, even in cloudy weather.
This one is functioning fine at the moment. If you are looking for a fairly heavy duty aerator, this might be an option, but there are smaller cheaper ones on the market that work just as well for small to medium ponds.
