Not an everyday tool , but works really well and can save a lot of time
In the box , you get the main tool , which is pretty big and has some weight
You then get a few different connectors for airlines as there are a few out there , they even give you a small roll of thread sealing tape if you do change the connector
You also get a CV boot included with a securing clips , which also came in handy to try it out !
This is the type of tool that you wont be using every day , but if you do need it , it will come in very handy
Most CV boots require the CV joint to be taken off/separated from the driveshaft to be able to fit a new CV boot
What this tool does is expand the CV boot so it can be slid over the CV joint and fitted , saving the messy/sometimes difficult job of removing the joint from the driveshaft , so can save you a lot of time and make the job easier .
I will say however , the stretchy rubber CV boots are not very common on newer vehicles , so this is probably better suited for older vehicles
To use the tool it is very easy , slide the CV boot on and then once connected to a compressed air supply (130 psi max) , press the brass button on the side and it will open the fingers and expand the boot , once the boot is on , press the brass button the other side and the fingers retract , all very easy to use and it all operates ion a very controlled manner
