Nicely Packaged Array Of Hair Care Products & All Smell Divine
I was first introduced to Moroccanoil’s signature scent when someone gave me hand cream as a gift. I immediately fell in love with the fragrance, and it’s been a favorite ever since. The scent is known as Fragrance Originale, and it’s a combination of sweet floral, spicy amber, musk and white sandalwood with hints of citrus and vanilla. While that might sound heavy, it’s wonderfully light and utterly feminine. I really like wearing the fragrance as a perfume or hand/body cream but sometimes I want an even lighter application, like when I go to the gym. This scented shampoo and conditioner is much more subtle for that purpose, and the combination gives my wavy, sometimes out of control hair a much smoother look and feel. I like the all-in-one leave in conditioner more than the 8 oz. size of regular conditioner, but both give good results. The leave-in just seems to add more hydration to my dry hair. I travel a lot, so the striped bag is an added bonus. It’s the perfect size to safely hold hair care products. Both the bag and hair products offer good security in suitcases–the products have leak-proof caps and the bag zips and snaps shut. I like to finish my hair routine with another Moroccanoil product that’s also in the same scent–their hair treatment oil, which is an argan oil-infused serum that also adds needed hydration and boosts shine. All are color-safe and wonderful. This comes beautifully packaged, and every product inside is practical. I ordered it for myself, but it would make a wonderful gift too.

I tried the Moroccanoil Hair repair set and I just love this shampoo and conditioner! My hair desperately needs to be cut and my end were a bit dry and fly away and this helped not only my ends but my hair looks and feels amazing. The shampoo itself is really good, only needed a thick half-dollar size for my hair that falls below my waist. It did a great job cleaning and it was more than enough to get the thick sudsing all over my head. The conditioner is not as thick as I would have expected but it did a great job hydrating my hair and making it brushable (which is a really big indicator of the quality of your conditioner when you have really long hair!). It also comes with a trial sized bottle of hydrating leave-in conditioner which I love! It has been great being able to try it with this set. All of them have a beautiful soft scent that is light and not overpowering or strong.
The shampoo and conditioner set comes in a really pretty re-usable bag which is going to be very useful, a wonderful touch from the company. The bag is as lovely and high quality as the shampoo and conditioner are.
There is no doubt this is very high quality shampoo and conditioner. I normally use regular brand names you can buy from the store and now that I have tried this and seen how differently it makes my hair feel, I am goin to have to rethink my hair care needs! This is amazing and worth the price. Great for your self, part of a gift basket or just a gift.

Moroccanoil is a brand I have trusted and loved for a long time, and I have always found their quality to be very high. This set includes a shampoo and a conditioner from the same line, which I really like, as well as a leave-in conditioner. I enjoy sets like this because they usually offer good value for the price and make it easy to use products that work well together without needing to buy them separately. The smaller size also allows me to test and try the products thoroughly before committing to a bigger set.
I am genuinely impressed with how quickly this set showed results. I have dry hair and a dry, irritated scalp, and I often deal with static, which is unpleasant and hard to manage. From the first use, this shampoo felt very hydrating, and I no longer had that issue since my hair is less dry. It makes my hair feel softer and look shinier. It lathers easily on damp hair, and one shampoo is more than enough to achieve that clean feeling. It has the signature Moroccanoil scent, which is very pleasant, not overpowering, and subtly lingers throughout the day. The leave-in conditioner really adds an extra layer of hydration, and I find it helps with damaged and split ends.
The formula is packed with nourishing ingredients such as argan oil, vegetable protein, amino acids, and keratin. The bottles are a very good size for a travel set, so I find the price reasonable for this type of luxury and high-quality hair care. The pouch it comes in is also very pretty, and I will surely use it.
I personally prefer a pump applicator for shampoos, but I can see why this one is pour-over, as it is designed as a travel kit.

I’m a fairly recent MoroccanOil convert and thus far every product I have tried has been stellar.
The repair formula features argan, avocado and jojoba oils which makes a smart blend for a deep moisture product like this.
The repairative aspect i think is also delivered by the blend of aminos (silk and keratin) plus hydrolyzed proteins – no doubt this would be an excellent product for people who are dealing with damaged hair from dyes and heat processing.
Personally i have low porosity hair which means nearly all of those thick, buttery, therapeutic conditioners i love using just sit atop my hair if i use them too often ~ but for once a week or biweekly this makes a fantastic duo!
As an aside i’m *extremely* fragrance sensitive and typically only buy products which are scented with essential oils or other natural extracts – ( so many personal care products are absolutely overloaded with fragrance and i find it incredibly offputting when a product which has great potential otherwise – does this…)
That said – this wasn’t my experience with these products though, gratefully!
The scent is fresh and pleasant – but, IMO doesn’t assault the senses in a way that causes overwhelm.
The spicy/ambery wood with vanilla florals really lingers in your hair and keeps it smelling fresh for quite a few days after use.
The set itself is gorgeous it comes in this beautiful, soft striped branded bag with a gold label and button which would make this a lovely gift for someone ( or if you just want to treat yourself !)
The travel sized leave in conditioner spray that it comes with is actually really good – since i didn’t need any extra moisture I gave it to our resident beard-haver and he’s been using it in his beard!
He reports it works super well for this!
