M6: Traffic as multiple lanes closed after crash on motorway
The incident was on the northbound carriageway at around 11am. Two lanes were closed off on the motorway after a crash involving a car transporter and a van. It was between J18, for Holmes Chapel and Middlewich, and J19, for Knutsford and Northwich.
A fire service spokesperson said the occupants of the car transporter and the van were out of their vehicles on arrival. One of them was cared for by the paramedics and the police were also in attendance, a fire service spokesperson said. #M6[1] north between J18 #HolmesChapel[2] and J19 #Tabley[3] is now open.

All lanes on the motorway were back open within less than two hours according to a social media post at around 1pm.
It said: "The M6 Northbound between J18 and J19 is now open."
Cheshire Police have been asked for a comment on the collision.
