A must have for bird watchers!
The first thing I noticed when opening this item was how sturdy and well made it is. It even includes little notches on the inside to help fledglings get out and a little raised floor for ventilation and cleanliness – no little detail has been missed.
I’ve been very keen to put this up because it’s now nesting season and literally the next day got blue tits checking it out!! How exciting. The camera reaches quite a distance to my house from down the garden and is kept charged by a little solar panel. It’s an absolutely fantastic bit of kit!
I can’t wait to watch the progress of nesting birds it’s well worth the purchase!!
Absolutely awesome!
Very well constructed with a lovely smell of natural wood. The camera was easy to pair with the app and after fully charging the camera I set about mounting the bird box. Placement considerations will need to include the type of bird you are trying to attract and the strength of your WiFi signal. I mounted the box to the side of my house using the included attachment. This bird box will swing, the birds in my area prefer a more secure box so I added a little bracket to prevent it swinging. Within a few days we had visitors and the app reported back as soon as there was any activity. The camera quality is excellent, really detailed and the build in mic works well too. All in all an excellent product and I’m excited to watch the birds hopefully raise a little family!
