I ordered this Lxprinton PG-575XL / CL-576XL set for our Canon TS3750i because, let’s be honest, the original Canon cartridges don’t last long and aren’t exactly cheap.
Installation was straightforward. They clicked into place without any forcing and the printer recognised them straight away — no error messages, no chip warnings, no drama. That’s always my main concern with compatible cartridges, but these behaved exactly as they should from the start.
Print quality has been absolutely fine for everyday use. Black text is crisp and dark, perfect for documents, labels and forms. The colour cartridge produces bright, clean colours that are more than good enough for home printing, school projects and the odd photo. It’s not professional photo-lab level, but for normal family use it does the job very well.
So far I haven’t noticed any streaking, patchiness or fading halfway through a page. Ink flow seems consistent and pages dry quickly without smudging. The XL capacity is a big plus too — 500 pages for black and 400 for colour (at 5% coverage) should mean fewer changes compared to standard cartridges.
In terms of value for money, this is where they really make sense. At 42.99 full price they’re already cheaper than OEM, and with the voucher bringing them down further it becomes a pretty significant saving. When you’re regularly printing forms, homework or general documents, that difference adds up over time.
Overall, easy to install, recognised instantly, solid print quality and a noticeable saving compared to originals. For everyday home printing, I think they’re great value for money and a sensible alternative to branded cartridges.
Good quality replacements
These are very good, as replacements go, a smooth replacement for the Canon original cartridges that came with my new Pixma printer. They are well packaged, with the usual inner seal and tab, fit into the printer in exactly the same way, print to a good luminosity (for the colour) and have a good opacity with no patchiness. All in all, I’m really pleased with these, and the XL size should mean that they last for that much longer, which is good news as replacement ink is not cheap.
The packaging is fine and looks very similar to the branded version. The only fault I can find with the box is that the glue sealing the cardboard edges has such a strong adhesive that I had problems getting into it – it could really benefit from a serrated-edged thumb-hole to make it easier. My only other quibble is with the price, which is quite expensive for a non-brand replacement at the current rate of 42.99, when another store is selling the branded version for just a few pounds more. However, these do seem to be a good equivalent, so it’s an easy 4 stars from me.
Fits Well and Prints Consistently
These replacement ink cartridges work well with my printer and were easy to install. The printer recognized them quickly without any issues, and printing started smoothly. The ink output looks clear, with good color balance for everyday documents and photos.
I’ve used them for both text and images, and the results are consistent without smudging. The ink dries fairly quickly, which helps avoid marks on the paper. Page yield seems reasonable for regular home use, though heavy printing will use them up faster.
The build quality feels decent, and they fit securely in place. While they may not last as long as original cartridges, they perform reliably for general printing needs.
