I’ve been using this CarPlay, and it transforms the feel of an older car the moment it switches on. The size is just right large enough to read maps and glance at notifications comfortably, but compact enough that it doesn’t block the dashboard or feel bulky. The display is bright, crisp and easy to see even when sunlight hits it directly, and the touch response is smooth enough that I can tap or swipe quickly without taking my attention off the road for long.
What makes the biggest difference for me is how seamlessly it connects. As soon as I start the car, it pairs wirelessly with my phone and loads my apps without any cables or fiddling. Maps, music, calls, messages everything works the same way it would in a newer built in system, and the interface feels familiar and intuitive. The audio transfers cleanly through the car speakers, and Bluetooth keeps calls stable and clear, even on longer drives.
I didn’t need to install anything or modify the car; I just powered it on, chose my connection, and it was ready. The included backup camera adds a real sense of reassurance when reversing, especially in tight spaces or dim lighting, and the mirror link option is useful when I want to display apps that aren’t officially supported by CarPlay or Android Auto. GPS navigation stays accurate even when I’m driving through rural areas or unfamiliar routes, and the system handles route changes quickly without lag.
Spot on fit brilliant value
I fitted this mount into the old Honda Jazz last Saturday, before the dawn dash to Isla’s swimming lesson, and the difference was instant. My Avaett T93 screen used to wobble about on a vent clip, now it sits bang in the centre of the dash where the redundant CD slot lives, right in my eyeline yet clear of the heater controls.
The metal tongue slides in smoothly, and that little side screw expands the pads behind it, locking the mount tight. And tight means tight, the A92’s potholes could not shake it loose even when the dog leapt from the back seat to the front at the traffic lights. I like that nothing blocks airflow, so the screen does not fog on frosty mornings. One small tangent, the box arrived looking as though it had survived a five-a-side match, but the mount itself was spotless.
So, for anyone with a spare CD slot and the T93 screen, this is quality kit, tidy build, installs in minutes and makes the car feel newer than it is, brilliant value.

Upgrading an older vehicle dashboard makes daily commuting much easier. The wide screen displays maps clearly without forcing the driver to squint. The wireless connection pairs instantly with a phone upon starting the engine. The touch interface responds rapidly without any frustrating lag during scrolling. The included camera provides a very clear view of traffic conditions. Running the necessary cables around the windshield trim takes some patience during initial setup. The screen brightness adjusts well for both sunny days and dark night driving. Voice commands register accurately over the engine noise. The mounting bracket holds the heavy display firmly without vibrating over bumps. The audio routes perfectly through the existing car speakers. The system modernizes old cars completely.

C’est un trs bon cran CarPlay de 9,26 pouces, qui est trs fluide et dont la connexion Android Auto est trs rapide.
En plus des fonctions habituelles de ce type d’cran, il a une dashcam 4K l’avant et une camra 1080p l’arrire pour les manuvres de recul. C’est un trs bon achat.
Brilliant upgrade for everyday driving
Driving home from the after school club last Tuesday, this 9.26 inch CarPlay screen lit up the Fiesta like a miniature cinema. Maps, messages and my beloved 80s hits sat there in crisp colour instead of me squinting at a phone wedged in a cup holder.
Setup took about five minutes, no spanners, just the suction base on the dash and the power cable into the cig socket. The wireless CarPlay kicked in before the kids finished arguing over snacks, completely cable free which felt oddly luxurious. And the built in 4K dash cam is sharper than my telly, it even caught Callum pulling faces behind his booster when we passed the speed camera. Reversing into our narrow terraced parking spot is suddenly stress free because the rear camera pops up automatically with bright guide lines. Voice control understands my chirpy northern accent, telling it to play Spice Girls never gets old.
Small aside the box was massive for what’s inside but the bubble wrap kept the 3 year old busy for ages.
So far the screen has stayed rock steady over potholes on the school run, brightness remains clear even when the low winter sun hits straight on. But what surprised me most is the built in speaker passing audio through FM without hiss or delay. GPS stayed locked while I detoured through farm lanes after a sheep jam, rerouting felt instant. I haven’t touched the settings since day one so this thing practically babysits itself.
Quality feels solid, nothing rattles and the menu is clear enough for my tech shy mum to borrow the car. For the features tucked in here it feels like I’ve gifted the Fiesta a new brain without visiting a garage. Highly recommended, I’d buy it again tomorrow though hopefully I won’t need to.
Old motor feels bang up to date
Swapped the clunky factory stereo in my 2011 Octavia for this Avaett 9.26 inch screen just before the mad dash to my son’s Saturday football. One USB cable to the cigarette socket, a quick poke through the menu, and we were rolling with CarPlay lit up like a Christmas tree.
During the 25 minute trip the unit paired wirelessly before I’d even wrestled my seat belt, Maps popped up sharp on the IPS panel, and Siri read new match locations while I hunted for shin pads. And the built in 4K dash cam caught a startled pheasant skidding across the lane, the footage looks clearer than my living room telly. Voice control meant I could queue “Three Lions” without greasy finger pokes, plus the bundled rear camera finally let me reverse between two drama-school mums’ SUVs without calling on my eight year old for hand signals. Quick aside, the box was taped like Fort Knox, my dog spent ten minutes shredding it for fun.
Brilliant brightness, rock solid wireless connection, and that crisp dash footage turn an old car into something that feels current. So for build quality, ease of use, and the sheer relief of parking stress free, this screen punches way above its weight.

Ich habe mir dieses 9,26-Zoll CarPlay/Android Auto Display mit integrierter Dashcam geholt, um mein lteres Auto technisch etwas aufzursten — und ich bin insgesamt wirklich positiv berrascht, wie viel Funktion man hier in einem Gert bekommt.
Der erste Eindruck war schon gut: Das Display ist angenehm gro und lsst sich dank der Halterung flexibel positionieren. Gerade die Gre von knapp 9 Zoll macht einen deutlichen Unterschied im Vergleich zu kleineren Gerten — Navigation, Musik oder Anrufe sind gut ablesbar, ohne dass man sich anstrengen muss. Besonders whrend der Fahrt ist das ein echter Vorteil.
Die Verbindung mit dem Smartphone (CarPlay / Android Auto) funktioniert bei mir problemlos. Nach der ersten Einrichtung verbindet sich das Gert automatisch, sobald ich ins Auto steige. Apps wie Google Maps, Spotify oder Telefonie laufen stabil und ohne sprbare Verzgerung. Das macht das Ganze im Alltag wirklich komfortabel.
Ein groes Plus ist die integrierte Dashcam. Die Frontkamera mit 4K liefert ein scharfes Bild, Kennzeichen sind tagsber gut erkennbar. Auch die mitgelieferte Rckkamera ist praktisch, z. B. beim Einparken oder zur zustzlichen Absicherung im Straenverkehr. Die Installation war etwas zeitaufwendiger, vor allem das Verlegen des Kabels fr die Rckkamera, aber mit etwas Geduld gut machbar.
Auch die Bedienung ber den Touchscreen ist insgesamt intuitiv. Das Men ist bersichtlich aufgebaut und reagiert ausreichend schnell. Zustzlich gibt es verschiedene Anschlussmglichkeiten (z. B. AUX oder Bluetooth), sodass sich der Ton gut ins bestehende Audiosystem integrieren lsst.
Was mir im Alltag besonders gefllt, ist die Kombination aus mehreren Funktionen in einem Gert: Navigation, Musik, Freisprechen und Dashcam — alles zentral ber ein Display gesteuert. Das spart Platz und macht das Auto deutlich moderner, ohne dass man ein fest eingebautes System nachrsten muss.
Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gert. Fr alle, die ihr Auto unkompliziert mit CarPlay/Android Auto und einer Dashcam nachrsten mchten, ist das eine wirklich praktische und preislich attraktive Lsung.
Eine perfekte Nachrstlsung fr Fahrzeuge ohne Navigatio
Das Avaett T93 Car-Display ist fr mich eine richtig perfekte Nachrstlsung
Ich habe mir das Avaett T93 Car-Display (9,26 Zoll) fr mein lteres Auto geholt und war schon beim Auspacken positiv berrascht. Alles war ordentlich verpackt und das Gert macht einen wirklich stabilen und wertigen Eindruck. Sogar ein Schraubendreher zur Montage der Halterung wurde mit beigelegt.
Die Halterung war bereits montiert, zustzlich liegt noch ein Saugnapf mit ausziehbarem Arm (ca. 15–20 cm) bei. Durch das Kugelgelenk konnte ich das Display problemlos so einstellen, dass nichts spiegelt — das fand ich sehr praktisch.
Die Verbindung mit meinem Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro lief ohne Probleme. Einmal eingerichtet, verbindet sich das Display nach dem Starten des Autos automatisch innerhalb von etwa 20 Sekunden. Das funktioniert bei mir zuverlssig.
Besonders gut gefllt mir die integrierte Dashcam. Die Aufnahmen starten direkt und werden auf der mitgelieferten 64-GB-Karte gespeichert. Die Bildqualitt wirkt im ersten Test wirklich gut (Front in 4K, hinten in HD). Das Display ist schn hell und auch bei Sonneneinstrahlung gut ablesbar.Wie sich das Ganze nachts schlgt, muss ich noch sehen wobei das Display sich auch automatisch dem Umgebungslicht anpasst.Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Es ist nicht ganz klar beschrieben, ob alte Videos automatisch berschrieben werden oder bei einem Unfall geschtzt sind.
Auch die Kameras selbst finde ich durchdacht: Die Frontkamera lsst sich verstellen und etwas herausziehen, was beim Ausrichten hilft. Die Rckkamera hat ein schn langes Kabel, sodass die Verlegung kein Problem sein sollte.
Strom bekommt das Ganze ber USB-C, und im Ladeadapter ist sogar noch ein zustzlicher Anschluss frei — finde ich ebenfalls praktisch.
Ich habe das Display wegen der kalten Temperaturen noch nicht fest eingebaut, aber mein erster Eindruck ist durchweg positiv. Fr mich aktuell eine klare Empfehlung
