Man, 59, arrested over death of motorcyclist on M6

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist was killed on the M6. The 59-year-old was arrested following a crash between a lorry and motorbike near Junction 10 near Walsall yesterday (Monday October 6). Police said the man was in custody this morning while their enquiries continued.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "The family of the man who died in the collision have been notified and are being supported by officers. "Our thoughts are with them at this tragic time. "Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the collision, which happened shortly before 3pm near Junction 10.
"They are keen to speak to any drivers who were in the vicinity at the time and especially want to see any dashcam footage which could help with their enquiries."
