M6 traffic LIVE as drivers face hour delays after crash
The M6 motorway has been hit with delays of an hour following a crash. Traffic was stopped on the motorway near Knutsford in Cheshire after the smash. National Highways has said that the motorway was held heading southbound between junction 19 and 18.
Three out of four lanes have now reopened. But one has remained closed and major delays have built up. National Highways is reporting seven miles of congestion on the approach to the area, almost back to the M56, junction 20.
There are delays of just under 60 minutes, the road authority has said.
