Live M25 traffic updates as crash near Leatherhead leads to hour-long delays
Drivers were warned of hour-long delays on the M25 in Surrey after a crash near Leatherhead. National Highways said the collision happened between Junctions 9 and 10 clockwise. The incident was first reported at just before 5pm.
Queues were building on approach with National Highways saying there there delays of "at least 60 minutes" above normal traffic times. Motorists were urged to allow extra time for their journeys, with two lanes closed following the incident. Emergency services were at the scene.
All lanes reopened at around 6pm but delays were still being reported in the area.
