M6 in West Midlands reopens following crash

A section of the M6 in the West Midlands was closed for several hours after a lorry crashed into the central reservation.

The northbound carriageway was shut between Junction 10 for Wolverhampton and Junction 11 for Cannock, shortly after 07:45 GMT, with one lane southbound also closed.

National Highways said all lanes had now reopened following repairs to the barrier.

There were delays of up to 90 minutes on the northbound carriageway between Junctions 8 and 10 immediately after it reopened, but National Highways said those were quickly clearing.
