Driver, 62, charged after lorry crashes into building
A driver has been charged after a lorry crashed into a building in Edinburgh. Emergency services were called to reports of a crash on Hanover Street at around 10.25am on Monday. There were no reports of any injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 62-year-old man, has been charged and reported in connection with a road traffic offence. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.25am on Monday, 31 March, 2025, we received a report of a lorry having earlier collided with a building on Hanover Street in Edinburgh. “Officers attended and there were no reports of injuries.
“The 62-year-old male driver of the lorry was charged and will be reported in connection with a road traffic offence.”
