Major disruption on A12 as lorry crash closes lane

An incident on the A12, northbound carriage has closed one lane, causing major disruption. The incident, which happened at around 1pm this afternoon, has caused severe delays as heavy traffic moves through a stretch of the A road. The incident, which is reportedly between a car and a lorry, is causing congestion to build in the area.

The accident is after junction 21 and tails back to junction 20, leading to only one lane remaining open on the dual carriageway. Drivers are advised to avoid the area, as recovery work is completed. Emergency services have been contacted for comment.
