Long delays on M25 after lorry crash

Drivers faced long delays on the M25[1] in Kent[2] this afternoon (February 26) due to a lorry crash. The collision took place on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junction 3, for the M20[3] and the Swanley Interchange, and junction 2, for the A2 and the Darenth Interchange. Traffic and travel monitoring service Inrix first reported the crash at around 3.10pm.

Two lorries are said to have been involved. One lane of four was been closed along the stretch of the motorway, with queuing traffic building in the area as a result. It is not yet known if any injuries have been reported following the collision.
