Slow traffic in both direction on M4 Prince of Wales Bridge

Traffic monitoring site, Inrix, is reporting "very slow" traffic on the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge in both directions, as drivers divert from the Severn Bridge.

The Severn Bridge remains closed, with Inrix posting at 10.55am: "Congestion to the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge in both directions, with the eastbound side very slow all the way back past J23A (Magor Services) as drivers divert."

National Highways is currently reporting delays of 15 minutes against expected traffic as you travel over the bridge, and delays of 20 minutes against expected traffic on approach to the bridge from the M49 in Avonmouth.
