Traffic chaos after lorry crashed off road and into hedge
Residents in a Devon town reportedly faced chaos after a lorry crashed off a road and into a hedge. Photos show the vehicle came off the narrow road, near Collipreist Lane, Tiverton[1], and was wedged up against a nearby tree. An eyewitness said the collision caused 'chaos' for local residents and business.
They told DevonLive the lorry "come off new road down Collipreist lane causing chaos for residents and local businesses" (sic).
Pictures show the vehicle seemingly slipped into a ditch alongside the lane before it stopped, resting against a tree.
Workers can be seen standing by the lorry, with what appears to be a recovery vehicle at the scene.
