Man killed in cement lorry crash near Leeds named

A man killed in a crash involving a cement lorry in a village close to Leeds last week has been named as 75 year old Robert Mitchell. The collision happened after 12pm last Wednesday (January 22) on the A63 Selby Road in Micklefield. A red Toyota Land Cruiser, which Robert was driving, was involved in a collision with a white Renault cement truck.

The truck driver, a 41 year old man, has been released on bail after being questioned on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
