Two lorry drivers die in tragic Christmas Eve crash on the A15
Two lorry drivers, including one from Cleethorpes, have sadly died following a crash on the A15. Lincolnshire Police were called to the road near Caenby Corner shortly after 9.30am today (December 24) following the collision involving a Volvo lorry and a Scania lorry. Sadly, the drivers of both lorries were pronounced dead at the scene.
Both men were aged 51, the force has said. One was from the Cleethorpes area and the other from the Barnsley area. The road north of Caenby Corner has been closed throughout the day following the incident close to the Snitterby junction.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson added: "We are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to contact us: "Call 101 quoting Incident 82 of 24 December. "Email PC Alastair Key at [email protected] quoting the same reference."
