Delays on M53 motorway due to accident

The M53 Northbound exit slip road closed due to accident at Junction 4 A5137 Brimstage Road (Bebington). Traffic is reported to be coping well. Posting on X North West Motorway Police said: "There is quite a lot of congestion today around J10, M53 both on the motorway, and off network on the surrounding roads.

Traffic backing up from M53 NB back on to M56 WB, so take care on the approach."

Travel and traffic tracker INRIX states: "M53 Northbound exit slip road closed due to accident at J4 A5137 Brimstage Road (Bebington).

Traffic is coping well."
