Motorcyclist dies after Somerset lorry crash
A man has died after a crash between a lorry and a motorcycle on the A4. The road was closed between the Hicks Gate and Broadmead roundabout in Keynsham just after 8.30am on Monday, November 25. Emergency services rushed to the scene and paramedics provided emergency care to the motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Avon and Somerset Police said: "Our thoughts are with his family and they are being supported by a specially trained officer." The road was closed through the day while an investigation was carried out, but has since reopened, the force confirmed in a statement.
Now, officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch. Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage which could aid the investigation is asked to call police on 101 or complete the online appeals form, referencing number 5224310078.[1]
