Woman in 70s airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after main road crash with lorry

A driver in her 70s was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries after a crash yesterday evening. The collision took place on the A10 near Denver at 5pm yesterday and involved a black Ford C-Max and a Mercedes HGV lorry. The road was closed until 1am this morning while emergency services attended the scene, including fire and ambulance.

The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 70s, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by an air ambulance with serious injuries, where she remains in a stable condition.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
