Woman airlifted to hospital after car and lorry crash on A10

A woman has been airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital[1] in Cambridge[2] after a crash on the A10[3] in Norfolk[4]. The woman was driving a car when it crashed into a lorry in Denver at 5pm on Sunday (October 13). The woman, in her 70s, was seriously injured but is in a stable condition.

The road was closed for around eight hours while firefighters[5] and medics[6] attended, and reopened at about 1am on Monday (October 14). Norfolk Police officers are appealing for witnesses. A spokesperson for the force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Denver.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including fire and ambulance. “The driver of the Ford, a woman aged in her 70s, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital[9] with serious injuries by air, where she remains in a stable condition. The road reopened at around 1am on Monday morning (14 October).

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any relevant dashcam footage.
