Edinburgh police race to scene as ‘lorry crashes into bus stop’ leaving it wrecked

An eyewitness has shared the damage caused after a lorry allegedly crashed into a busy bus stop on Sunday evening. Police officers could be seen on London Road within the capital after the incident which occurred around 5.20pm on October 20. In images shared with Edinburgh Live, the bus stop collapsed and the glass top was completely destroyed.
