M25 recap as crash involving multiple lorries caused serious delays

A crash involving multiple lorries caused rush hour chaos on the M25 this morning (September 2). Commuters were facing delays on the clockwise carriageway of the major Essex motorway, with reports of the crash being reported at around 7am. The earlier incident is causing massive delays for road users as of 8.30am.

Congestion caused by the serious accident has built from junction 29 affecting the A127 to Romford and Basildon all the way to junction 28 affecting the A12 Brentwood and Brook Street Roundabout areas. Only two of four lanes were open as traffic awaited heavy duty recovery. The accident, which involved two or three lorries caused severe delays, even affecting J30 leading to Lakeside.
