Woman, 84, killed in collision between car and lorry in Kidderminster

A woman was killed in a collision between a Land Rover and a lorry.

The 84-year-old woman was a passenger in the Land Rover which was involved in a collision on the A449 south of Kidderminster on Sunday.

A black Land Rover Discovery and a lorry collided at the junction with Summerfield Lane, near to the Mare and Colt pub, shortly after 16:50 BST.

The woman died at the scene.

Another person was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries and West Mercia Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
