Traffic on A47 after lorry crashes with caravan

Police were called at around 11.25am to the A47 Dereham Bypass, Norwich bound, near the Swanton Morley turn-off. The carriageway was blocked and traffic was at a standstill after the caravan tipped onto its side. The road was blocked while emergency services attended the scene (Image: Supplied)

Two fire crews, one from Carrow and another from Earlham, were called to assist the ambulance service and made the scene safe. A recovery crew were sent to clear the road. Some drivers have been delayed for up to an hour and a half (Image: Supplied)
