Man, 18, dies after being hit lorry while walking on Scots motorway…

A TEENAGER has died in an HGV horror crash after he was seen walking on a motorway. Police[1] said the 18-year-old man was involved in a collision[2] involving a truck on the M74 in Lanarkshire[3] in the early hours of this morning.

The force said he was spotted walking near to junction six for Hamilton[4] on the southbound motorway at around 3.10am. They received another report stating the man had been struck by a vehicle shortly after.

Emergency services raced to the scene, but the teenager was pronounced dead. Cops have since appealed for information.
