Careless lorry driver failed to stop after crash in Southampton

TAWNY DUNWOODIE, 33, of Brookley Road, Brockenhurst pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Bournemouth Railway Station. She was fined GBP40 and was ordered to pay GBP85 court costs plus a GBP16 surcharge. SEAN O’TOOLE, 53, of Oak Drive, Fair Oak was found guilty of driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after a road accident on Padwell Road, Southampton.

He was driving a White Mitsubishi Canter Tipper Municipal lorry when damage was caused to another vehicle. O’Toole was fined GBP700 and received six points on his licence. He must pay GBP650 court costs and a GBP280 surcharge.

CASEY TAYLOR-HOLLOWAY, 32, of Harefield Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on St Denys Road, Southampton. KYLIE BISHOP, 36, of Salisbury Road, Totton pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a controlled drug of Class A, namely heroin and crack cocaine. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay GBP85 court costs plus a GBP26 surcharge. The court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.

CARLY LEITH, 42, of Junction Road, Calmore was found guilty of two counts of assault by beating. She received a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay GBP650 court costs plus a GBP26 surcharge. JOBY COOPER, 32, of Hillyfields, Nursling pleaded guilty to burglary after GBP40.80 worth of Stella Artois was stolen from a storage container in Southampton.

He also admitted theft from a shop after cans of alcohol were stolen from Co-Op in Nursling Street. He was fined GBP100 and ordered to pay a GBP40 surcharge. SHAJU TARAFDAR, 38, of Le Roux Close, Southampton admitted three counts of harassment in Southampton.

He was given a community order until February 20, 2026, with ten rehabilitation days and 100 hours of unpaid work.

Tarafdar must pay GBP250 court costs.
