M56 LIVE updates: Traffic building with lanes shut after crash involving lorry

There were long queues on the M56 this morning after a crash. According to traffic alert service Inrix, two lanes were shut off on the eastbound side of the motorway. They were closed from junction 7 for Bowdon to junction 6 for Wilmslow Road.

The accident reportedly involved a lorry and two cars. Queues were building up to the lane closures. The motorway was fully reopened by around 7.40am.
