M4 road closures to cause weeks of misery for drivers
Several parts of the M4 will either be partially or fully closed this week due to roadworks. The works include maintenance and resurfacing work and while they will mostly take place overnight, some drivers may still be affected. Some of the sections will be closed for a few days while other more major works could impact part of the motorway for several weeks.
There are many areas affected this week including Margan, The Prince of Wales Bridge, and Tredegar to name a few. People are being advised to allow for extra travel time as a result of these works. Here are all the M4 closures affecting Wales for the week starting Friday, July 19, according to Traffic Wales. For the latest Welsh news delivered to your inbox sign up to our newsletter[2].[1]
