LIVE queues build as all traffic stopped on Manchester motorway following vehicle fire

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 1.40pm today (Tuesday July 30) three fire engines from Stockport, Cheadle and Wythenshawe fire stations were called to reports of a car on fire on the M60 sliproad between junctions two and three.
“Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe.
Crews were in attendance for around 35 minutes.”
