Dartford Crossing crash leaves woman seriously injured in hospital
A woman was left seriously injured after a major crash near the Dartford Crossing. The M25 was severely disrupted on Wednesday last week (July 24) when a car, lorry and van were involved in a crash. At around 4pm, a white VW Crafter van, orange Volvo lorry and white Peugeot Boxer van were travelling into Kent on the A282 when the crash happened just prior to junction 1a.
Kent Police along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene. A woman, who was a passenger in the van, was treated for serious injuries. She was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Roads policing officers are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who was travelling in either direction and saw what happened or has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
"Anyone with information should call the appeal line on 01474 366149, quoting reference 24-0941." Drivers with dashcam that may assist can upload the footage by clicking here[3].
