Woman (20s) in ‘critical condition’ after car collides with lorry in Co Derry

Sat 8 Jun 2024 at 17:03A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Aghadowey.
The incident occurred during the early hours of this morning, Saturday 8 June.
A police officer said: "The woman, who is in a critical condition, was the driver of a black BMW 3 Series that collided with a blue flatbed Scania lorry on Glenkeen Road at around 3.20am.
"Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit are now investigating and would like to hear from witnesses, or anyone who may have captured dash- cam or other footage in the area.
"They can be contacted by calling 101, quoting reference 206 08/06/24."
