Live M3 traffic updates as ‘police incident’ closes motorway near Frimley

The M3 near Frimley closed on Friday night (June 28) as police responded to an “incident”. National Highways cameras showed heavy traffic building up after the motorway was closed in both directions. As of 10pm, the motorway was closed between J4 (Frimley) and J4a (Farnborough).

Police officers and traffic officers were at the scene. National Highways said diversions were in place but drivers were warned of possible delays to their journeys. This is a breaking news story.
