Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce debuts new electric motor with 280 hp

The Alfa Romeo announced that the Junior, the smallest SUV in the range, will now be available in a Veloce version equipped with an electric motor that delivers 280 hp of power and 345 Nm of maximum torque.

In addition to the new engine, this version, the sportiest in the range, features a set of design evolutions that have been aimed at maximizing performance, road behavior, and driving pleasure.

In this way, Alfa Romeo engineers proceeded with a specific calibration to make the steering as direct and precise as possible, which allows for reinforcing the road grip qualities of the 100% electric SUV.

In addition, the sports suspension has been lowered by 25 mm; the front and rear stabilizer bars are distinctly sporty, ensuring high-speed curves with a high level of grip; the braking system is equipped with front discs with a diameter greater than 380 mm and four-piston monobloc calipers.

The Junior Veloce also features a Torsen differential that offers the best possible traction in all conditions, 20? tires specifically designed for electric vehicles.

In addition, the goals and objectives are the same as always for each Alfa Romeo: the best behavior and driving dynamics in its class, and for that, this Junior Veloce with 280 hp was developed by the same team that created the 4C, 8C, Giulia & Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Giulia GTA, and the 33 Stradale.
