Person taken to hospital after crash involving three cars and lorry

A person was taken to hospital after emergency services were called to a four-vehicle crash. Suffolk Police was alerted at 2.30pm to the collision involving three cars and a lorry on the A143 in Great Barton. The ambulance service was called and the road blocked.

A police spokesman said one person suffered injuries which were not believed to be serious.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said it sent two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle.

One person was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.

One ambulance remains at the scene.
