Firefighters rescue man after crash between lorry, tractor and van

An injured person has been rescued by firefighters after a crash between a lorry, tractor and van. Emergency services were called to the incident on the B1095 in Peterborough[1] at around 6.30am on Wednesday morning (May 1). A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue[2] spokesperson said: "At 6.29am, crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a road traffic collision on B1095 in Farcet Fen involving a lorry, tractor and van.

"Using specialist equipment, firefighters released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews. The crews returned to their stations by 7.40am."

An East of England Ambulance Service[5] spokesperson said: "We were called just after 6.15am to attend a road traffic collision on the B1095 Ramsey Road involving a tractor and a van.

"Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Magpas Air Ambulance response car were sent to the scene. One patient, an adult male, was transported to Peterborough City Hospital for further treatment." A Cambridgeshire Police[6] spokesperson said at approximately 9.30am: "We were called at about 6.30am today (1 May) with reports of a collision between multiple vehicles on Milk and Water Drove, Stanground.
