All three lanes have been shut at the end of the bridge for repairs by National Highways. The works started at 9pm yesterday (May 17) and will finish at around 6am on Monday.

At one point today there were reports of approximately four miles of congestion, causing 60-minute delays. @GemmaN999 on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: “We’ve been here for two hours and still one mile to go.
