CCTV APPEAL – 28-year-old man dead after lorry collision in Evesham

A MAN has died in Evesham after being hit by a lorry on the A46 this morning (May 7).

The collision happened shortly after 6am by the layby on the A46, close to the Beckford Road turning in Dumbleton.

The pedestrian, aged 28, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The family have been informed. The driver of the lorry was uninjured, and no arrests have been made.

West Mercia Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
