Ainley Top traffic live as crash causes gridlock ‘on all approaches’
Traffic is building at Ainley Top this morning following a crash. The A629 is partially blocked following the accident which happened on the A643 Lindley Moor Road, Ainley Top Roundabout, Huddersfield. Congestion is building on "all approaches" to the roundabout.
Drivers are likely to face delays as emergency services deal with the scene. Details surrounding the exact circumstances of the crash are scarce at the moment but the latest update from traffic system Inrix states it happened at 6.44am, with the latest update showing it ongoing at 7.17am. It reads: "A629 partially blocked, delays due to accident around A643 Lindley Moor Road (Ainley Top Roundabout).
Congestion to all approaches to the roundabout and back to Edgerton. On the roundabout." West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for a comment.
