Woman charged nine months after man dies following lorry crash

A woman has been charged nine months after a man died following a lorry crash in Glasgow. Cameron Eaglesham, 44, died after being struck by a lorry on Duke Street in Denniston around 11am on June 1, 2023. The 45-year-old woman driving of the lorry was uninjured in the incident.

Nine months after the crash, police have confirmed that a 45-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with fatal crash. A report is set to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "A 45-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence following a fatal crash on Duke Street in Glasgow.

"A 44-year-old man died in the collision which happened around 10.40am on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
