Live A14 updates as road closed in both directions after lorry overturns
An overturned lorry has seen the A14 closed in both directions today (Tuesday, March 26). Both carriageways are closed at Bar Hill following a crash involving an overturned lorry. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “A14 Bar Hill.
Both carriageways closed following single vehicle RTC.” Traffic data company Inrix said: “A14 in both directions closed, slow traffic due to overturned lorry at J25 B1050 Hattons Road (Bar Hill). Diversion – via the sliproads.”
A National Highways spokesperson said: “We’re now reporting delays in excess of 60 minutes on the A14[2] eastbound within J25 (Bar Hill) following the overturned lorry. Delays on the westbound carriageway are at least 45 minutes above usual journey times. Recovery crews are in attendance working to remove the lorry.”
